Frank A. Peplowski, Jr., MBA, CMPE
Frank A. Peplowski, Jr., MBA, CMPE is the president and CEO. Mr. Peplowski has 25 years of anesthesia, pathology and general practice management experience in both academic and private practice settings. He received his MBA from Wake Forest University's Babcock Graduate School of Management and received the designation of Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) from the American College of Medical Practice Executives in 1999.
June B. Reavis, CPC
June B. Reavis has been working in the medical field for 19 years, with seven years at UPMS. Ms. Reavis is experienced in coding and compliance for anesthesia and pain management. She is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), and is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) specializing in anesthesiology and pain management.
Penny S. Rodriguez, CMC
Penny S. Rodriguez is an insurance specialist with 13 years experience working both for insurers and physicians, with seven years at UPMS. Penny follows up on inactive claims and consistently meets goals in researching late payments. She is a member of the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, and is a Certified Medical Collector (CMC) through the Society for Strategic Coders. Penny is also experienced at small claims court procedures, and is UPMS' representative at NC Medicare and payer seminars.
Donna Tollie, CPC
Donna Tollie has been with UPMS for four years, with 6 years experience in anesthesiology and 8 years total medical practice experience. Donna took classes and passed the examination to become a Certified Professional Coder designation while at UPMS. Donna has extensive coding experience in anesthesiology and is the primary coding person for multiple practices.
Kay Triplette
Kay Triplette joined UPMS in 2004, and is our primary demographics data control person. Kay was new to medical practice billing and insurance, but has been with UPMS now for more than 4 years.
Megan Ericksen
Megan recently joined UPMS in November, 2007, after completing course work in medical billing. This is her first position in the medical billing business, and she handles charge entry and payment posting along with other tasks.
